Prepare your dealership launch
Six steps to prepare account access, dealer details, inventory, AI chat, website content and go-live checks. Timing depends on your data, integrations and approvals.
Before you start
For the dealership administrator and launch owner. Have approved business details, content, feed access, DNS access and the people responsible for approvals available. This is a launch checklist; your onboarding scope determines which setup tasks the team performs.
Editorial review: 23 September 2026. Controls depend on your enabled dealer configuration; confirm access with the DriveAgent team.
Yournextsteps
Work through the checks below with the person responsible for your dealership configuration.
1. Create your account
Ask the onboarding team to confirm your dealer account, administrator access and target website. Prepare your business details and the locations you want to manage. Verify that the selected dealer is correct before editing.
2. Configure your dealer profile
Prepare approved logos, contact details, sales/service/parts hours and team access. Review the saved details on the customer-facing pages, including each location. Template reuse and imported pages still need editorial review.
3. Connect your inventory feed
Confirm the actual feed provider, access and field mapping with the team. Check representative vehicles for make, model, price, images and availability after the first import. Agree and measure the refresh schedule before launch.
4. Set up AI chat
Use the AI Chat Setup guide to configure the website URL, allowed domains, greeting, handoff email and timezone. Test current-stock questions, missing information and a request for a person. Confirm what the enabled knowledge pipeline can retrieve.
5. Customise your website
Review homepage, stock pages, finance and service content in the configured CMS. Confirm the available components and publishing permissions. Check forms, mobile layouts and keyboard navigation with real approved content.
6. Go live
Record DNS and SSL checks, analytics configuration, form delivery, chat handoff and inventory checks. Agree the launch owner and rollback procedure. Publish only after the customer journeys pass; verify them again on the live domain.
Review before you launch
Confirm configuration, approvals and support arrangements with your team. Test the customer journey using approved test details before switching on customer-facing activity.

Questions andchecks
Custom-domain support remains part of the platform requirement. Confirm domain ownership, DNS access, certificate readiness and the cut-over process with the team. Automated dealer onboarding is recorded as Pilot/R&D in the capability ledger; it is not evidence of instant provisioning for every dealer.
The blueprint retains integrations for major Australian feeds, including EasyCars, AutoGate, Dealer Solutions, MotorOne and DealerCell, plus CSV/XML import. A provider name in the blueprint does not confirm availability for your account. Supply a sample and confirm the adapter, field coverage, permissions and commercial scope before planning the migration.
The original 15-minute import and refresh target remains a requirement to validate. There is no verified universal setup or sync time in this guide. If stock is missing, ask the team to check feed access, mapping, import status and indexing before enabling customer search.
A parallel transition can be scoped on a temporary domain. Rehearse DNS cut-over and rollback while the existing site remains available. Confirm provider behaviour and propagation before scheduling the launch.
Group administration, per-location branding, domains, feeds and AI configuration remain requirements. Confirm the configured sharing boundaries for customer data, pipeline and reporting; do not assume access is shared across locations.
The original blueprint retains ABN-led signup, instant subdomains, automatic page generation, drag-and-drop composition, no-code setup, automatic DNS/SSL checks and real-time configuration validation. These are specified requirements; this guide does not mark them verified for every dealer. Launch timing, free migration, specialist allocation and support coverage require an agreed commercial scope.
